Thursday, November 13th at 9:00 am. This play date will be held at Summit Park next door to the church.
Tuesday, December 9th at 9:00 am. This playdate will be held at the Superstition Springs Mall play area.

November 7th Hike
We had a beautiful hike at the Wind Caves last month. It was certainly the highlight of my week getting together with all the women that could come along.
Keep an eye in the bulletin for another hike at the Wind Caves coming up later this month that is for the family, put on by the Men’s Ministry.
Our next hike is Friday, November 7th. Meet and be prepared to leave at 8:15 AM in the RMCC parking lot and we will do our best to be back before 12:30 PM.
We will be driving out to Gold Canyon for a hike that is not as steep as our last. Distance Round Trip 3 miles Trail head Elevation 2100 feet
Elevation Gain 588 feet Time Round Trip 1.5 hours - 2 hours.
There may be a small fee, please bring a few $’s with you as well as
water, hat, sunscreen, hiking shoes, snack.

Hello Hikers,
The weather these last days has been so nice. Perhaps the cooler temperatures will stay with us this Fall.
Friday, October 24 is our next hike.
Please meet us at the RMCC parking lot at 8:15 AM where we be leaving quickly in carpools to our next hike at Usery Mountain Park. Please be prepared to donate $3 for the admittance. If you have a larger vehicle, a permit for the area, and are willing to drive, please let me know.
The hike is 3.2 miles round trip. Some areas of the trail are rocky and narrow.

Annual Christmas Dinner
Yes, believe it or not the Holiday season is fast approaching and with it comes our annual Women’s Christmas Dinner, which will be Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6.
Hostess sign-ups begin October 12, and as always we will be in need of Christmas Blessing donations (Door Prizes). Tickets go on sale November 2. So don’t delay because they will go fast. Stop by the Women’s cart for a flyer.

Our first hike of the season is already here. Friday, September 26 we will meet at the RMCC parking lot at 8:15 AM and carpool to our starting point. We will be going very close by and anticipate being back at the church by 12 PM, possibly earlier. This is about a one hour hike. We start in some sand and then it is a pretty good grade with a view at the top.
So dig out those hiking shoes, get your camelback ready or some water bottles, and toss a small snack in your pocket. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are always a good idea as well.
It’s a huge help if we know who is coming. Sometimes we take off early if we have everyone so we can beat the heat.

Upcoming Playdate
Are you looking for opportunities to meet other mothers while your children play? While the weather is still warm, we have a few “cool” events planned.
Meet us at 9 am in room G-3 at the church. There is plenty of crawl space, toys, books and fun. Thursdays, September 25th and October 2nd & 30th.
Join us at Peter Piper Pizza (Mckellips/Power) right after Bible Study on Tuesday, October 14th. They offer a buffet for $4.49. Children 3 and under eat free.
